About us What We Strive For

We live in Aldergrove, BC Canada, approximately 2.5 km from the Lynden, Washington/Aldergrove border crossing. We live on approximately 1/2 acre but are surrounded by rural & farms all within less that 5 minute walk from our home.

We are a family who love our dogs. The dogs are an integral part of our family.   First and foremost the dogs live with us in our home as loyal companions, and working partners. We are not a kennel. Our dogs are my hobby. For the most part we have fun with our dogs doing agility, Canine Nosework (scent work on specific odors) and herding whenever we can. We do have litters on occasion which are also raised in the home.

English Shepherds are quite rare. This breed was developed as a working stock dog and if asked to, will willingly work all day. They are also a proven agility dog in North America and excel at the sport with proper training and handling. They have also proven to be outstanding Search and Rescue partners. Our dogs have excellent work ethics, drive and are eager to please both in and out of the ring. We breed English Shepherds on occasion to hopefully be a small part of preserving a wonderful breed. Our aim is to breed for sound dogs with good structure, stable temperament, and working ability keeping versatility in mind. We breed for an all-around multipurpose farm and family dog.  They all have a keen interest in being with the family, but will think and act independently when required. They are structurally sound and have excellent athletic capabilities with the correct training. They are active and healthy and all of them are keen to participate in any activity with the family. English Shepherds are thinking dogs and learn very quickly. I breed with the intent and focus on maintaining the integrity of the breed.

The placing of our puppies is done through careful screening of prospective farms, homes and families (preference will be given to working homes).   We take the utmost care in finding the right match for both human and pup.   We will not place pups solely on color. We want our pups to be placed into their forever homes with the hopes of never having to rehome any of them.
