The date for our prospective breeding is NOT  Sept 13-15 it is actually and

please note SEPT 20-22. duh!  Blaze is shaking his head at me and rolling his eyes.

Sometimes I just don't know where my head is at.  It has proven it has a mind of its own and  travels sometimes in a different direction than I thought I was heading.  One day we may get together and be on the same page.  Hopefully in the not to distant future and when that happens I think I'll need it welded on for safe keeping.

Our couple has been Bred both with AI and natural.  So unless something

unusual happens we should be having puppies between Sept 13-15th.. I'm

so looking forward to this litter.  We should have a very nice litter with a

very sound body and mind.  With all the typical English Shepherd traits.

I'm hoping to have a nice mix of between Mom's drive and enthusiasm

complemented by Dad's more laid back easy going attitude.

Both parents have been around livestock sporadically.  Emmie lives on 5

acres with horses.  She has had limited experience with livestock but has

shown a keen interest to herd.  Blaze has done limited herding he likes to

gather and drive.  He loves the work but as I haven't had the time to put

into herding he's only had a few sessions.  Both dogs do agility as well as

Canine Nosework (scent work on specific odors). They both enjoy both

sports immensely.  This litter should be a biddable sound group of puppies

with drive and the true English Shepherd personality.

Emmie came into heat on the 5th of \July and we are now waiting for her progesterone level to let us know when we can breed her.  So its the waiting game.. I have just found out I really am not a very patient person.  Finding the waiting game very frustrating especially as we have waited so long for this litter to happen.  More to follow...

Pedigrees have been loaded on to site

Well after days of working on it the website is almost complete so please check it out let me know what you think any suggestions to make it better.   I still have photos that I have to upload and more our dogs pedigrees as well as information and updates on our puppies from our previous litters.  I will also add a page for our auxiliary dog for our upcoming breeding.   Keep checking in with us updates will be coming fairly regularily.

This is day one of my blog and setting up my new website.  I'm slowly getting it done it sure does take time though.   While I'm doing this its raining again in Aldergrove feels like November not mid July.  My dogs are bored as I've been at the computer for a few days now and not playing or working with them.  Bear with me while I get it all finished.

I fell in love with the English Shepherd about 10 yrs ago thanks to my friend in agility Barbara Brown. I studied the breed for years before acquiring my first ES, in Nov. 2005.
